Along with its sibling restaurant chain, Carl’s Jr., Hardee’s is the 5 th largest fast-food restaurant chain in the United States after Subway, McDonald’s, Burger King, and Wendy’s. As of March 2017, there are 2,422 Hardee’s locations in 35 states and the District of Columbia.
